The Columbia Falls Library Association hosted a Gardening Workshop last night to an audience of 45 people at the Columbia Falls Branch Library. Local gardeners presented on worm composting, growing heirloom corn, soil amendments and growing herbs. Participants had lots of questions about the red wiggler worms and home ground cornmeal that were passed around. It was great to see beginning gardeners come together with experts to get some tips on how to grow food on their own.
