Newspaper Index
The Newspaper Index is back up on the web site under the Database and Resources link. For those of you that didn't know it was there or didn't miss it, the Whitefish Pilot is indexed for easier searching, thanks to dedicated volunteers Larry and Buddie Rooney. A big Thank You is also due the Whitefish Library Association who funded the $2950.00 to have Tom Laird write the program that enables patrons to access this service.
You are correct that the Whitefish Library Association and Mr. Larid deserve a big thanks. However, the cost for this service was $4950.00 not $2950.00!
Wow! The Whitefish Library Association must really be up to date on what is important at the Whitefish Library! They seem to be on the mark with supporting their library and those needs of that library community.
Yay!! I was able to help a patron find a specific article from 1958 with section, page and column numbers without having to go through the WHOLE year. Thank you, Mr. Laird and the Whitefish Library Association!
